Itinerary

Day 1: Agra – The Mughal Legacy - Drive or take a fast train from Delhi to Agra. Head straight to the magnificent Taj Mahal to admire its white marble architecture. Explore the sprawling sandstone walled city of Agra Fort. Catch the sunset over the Taj Mahal from across the river at Mehtab Bagh.

Day 2: Lucknow – Nawabs and Kebabs - Travel to Lucknow via the Agra-Lucknow Expressway (approx. 4 hours). Visit the architectural marvel of Bara Imambara and its famous Bhool Bhulaiya (labyrinth). Walk through the bustling lanes of Hazratganj or Aminabad. Taste authentic Awadhi cuisine, including world-famous Tunday Kababi.

Day 3: Ayodhya – The Ancient Holy City – Drive from Lucknow to Ayodhya (approx. 2.5 hours). Visit the grand Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir and the historic Hanuman Garhi Temple. Attend the serene evening Saryu Aarti at Ram Ki Paidi ghats.

Day 4: Prayagraj – The Holy Confluence – Head south to Prayagraj (approx. 3.5 hours). Take a boat ride out to the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers. Visit Anand Bhawan, the ancestral home of the Nehru family, turned into a museum.

Day 5: Varanasi – Capital of Culture – Drive to Varanasi (approx. 2.5 hours), one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on Earth. Check into your hotel and wander through the vibrant, narrow alleyways of the old town. Witness the grand, synchronized spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Day 6: Varanasi & Sarnath – Spiritual Immersion – Take an early morning boat ride on the Ganges River to view sunrise rituals. Visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Excursion to Sarnath (10 km away), where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. See the ancient Dhamekh Stupa. Shop for famous Banarasi silk sarees at local weavers' markets.

Day 7: Departure – Enjoy local breakfast (Kachori Sabzi and Jalebi). Transfer to the Varanasi Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport for your flight back home.
